HAPPY CERTIFIED NURSES DAY!!!

I hope all of you that are CNOR proud are enjoying your day.  Take pride in knowing that you've taken that extra step to show the world how much being an OR nurse means to you.

Those that are not certified, I hope that you'll consider becoming certified.  Being certified shows your commitment to wanting to be the best, lifelong learning, and it shows the world that you really care.  Having your certification can improve your professional status, support job growth, boost your resume, and in some instances increase your earnings.  Check out CCI for more information on becoming certified.           https://www.cc-institute.org/

The Pittsburgh Chapter of AORN is gearing up for elections.  Won't you please consider running for an office?  The Board meets once a month to discuss Chapter events, as well as trends, EBP, and how we care for our surgical patient's.  We plan educational dinners, and community volunteering opportunities.  The Board would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.  Please complete the attached Willingness To Serve Form and return it to myself or one of the Nominating Committee members.  Feel free to reach out to anyone of us with any questions that you may have.  Thank you.
