Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse to join our team at the Crisis Intervention Residential for Adults (CIRA) program. In this role, you will provide a range of essential health services, including medication management, health education, supportive therapy, and crisis assessment. You’ll play a vital part in promoting physical and mental wellness for individuals receiving care.

Key responsibilities include administering and educating individuals on medications, addressing general health needs, coordinating physical health treatment and appointments, and delivering training related to physical fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness. You will also provide therapeutic interventions, support walk-in crisis assessments, and contribute actively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

The Nurse will maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including daily medication records, and support a person-centered approach to care throughout all services provided.

REQUIREMENTS: Work minimum of 2 shifts per month

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing + 1 year of related experience OR Registered Nurse + 2 years of related Mental health/direct care experience.
  • Valid PA RN License
  • Valid Driver License and the ability to drive organization vehicles.
  • Act 33/34/73 clearances
  • Pre-employment Drug Test
  • Physical/TB/Hep B to be updated every 2 years
